Test of Movement WIP

I'd like to make a mash-up 3d comic book style piece and I'm trying to capture dynamic movement within a single scene.  In a perfect world the movements of the character would be wire-framed but the head on the model doesn't go wired when done in xnalara.  Instead I figured I'd try recoloring the model, the one furthest away darkest to light to maybe really draw out the main action of the character.  Thoughts?  Suggestions?  Pointers?  Criticisms?  All totally welcome and appreciated!
